Ted Janus started selling affordable, discount vacation packages that could be arranged on short notice primarily to law enforcement, fire department personnel, court personnel and federal officers. Janus Travel began as a discount travel agency on Higgins Avenue in Chicago with 3 employees in a rented office.

Payment Policy

Unless a specific form of payment is stated, all vacation packages can be paid by cash, check, or credit card. Personal check payments are acceptable as long as trip departure is outside at least 10 business days from the date of payment. An itinerary and tour company contract will also need to be signed as well.
