A graduate of California State University Sacramento, where Tessa repeatedly appeared on the Dean's honor roll, she went on to earn her law degree from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where she was awarded Top Honors in Trial Advocacy. She has practiced in Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado, Shasta, and Tehama Counties.
