The concept of Grape Beginnings Winery was brought to fruition after a college room-mate weekend up at my family cabin the summer of 2013. One of my room-mates brought some wine with her from the boutique winery she manages in southern Michigan. I have always enjoyed wine and my husband Brent has been acquiring a taste for it since we've been together.
Once the weekend was over, I mentioned the idea of starting a boutique winery in Midland to Brent. We decided that a winery was something that would fit into the culture of Midland and that it would be well received. We are still here continually moving forward adding new wines, merchandise and food to our menu while striving to have great customer service for the people who come visit our lovely winery.

Crab and krab meat mixed in a creamy cheese spread with garlic, and green onions toasted on an English muffin. Red onions and garlic saute'ed in butter and white wine blended with melted cream cheese, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, buffalo sauce and shredded chicken. Served with your choice of vegetables, pretzel chips or tortilla chips.

Grape Beginnings Winery picks one of our wines to feature monthly. The wine we pick is on sale for it's featured month and in addition we tie it to an area non-profit agency and donate a portion of the proceeds to that organization. We also let you know what chocolate from Heather N Holly we think pairs best with it.

Each tasting is a little different. Please send an email gbw@grapebeginningswinery.com requesting information on any of the tastings and I'll send you our tasting contracts with more detail. Please check our events to find out when our next chocolate or cheese pairing event might be. We ship our wines in Michigan and Colorado.
