Florida Fish-Wildlife
The nonprofit Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida works with FWC and other public and private partners to protect our outstanding animals and plants and the lands and waters they need to survive. Since 1994 we have raised and donated more than $50 million for conservation and youth outdoor recreation.

We work with FWC and many others to conserve Florida's outstanding animals and plants and the habitats they call home. Lionfish, Burmese pythons and tegu lizards are among the non-native species threatening Florida's ecosystems. You can help. Hunting helps maintain healthy populations of deer and other animals and provides an incentive to landowners to manage for wildlife.

What We Do

Among the wide array of conservation and outdoor programs we support, the following five initiatives are the most urgent. Non-native invasive species like Burmese pythons, Brazilian pepper, and lionfish threaten Florida's natural ecosystems and cost millions of dollars annually to control. See how the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida is helping combat them.
