Hello, My Name is Lonnie Gay. My family and I invite you to stop in for a visit to Country Oaks Campground and RV Park. Our campground is a full-featured site that is just minutes away from the Georgia coastal waters. You will find the atmosphere friendly and relaxing. All forty four RV sites are full hook-ups and the campground is surrounded by lush oak and palmetto forest, teeming with wildlife.
Campground guests aren't the only anglers to enjoy our fully stocked fishin' hole, an Osprey or two and Great blue heron are regular diners too. My family & I built this park in 1997 from a section of our 18 acre property. When you stay here, you are truly our guest. The convenience of Jacksonville is just a few miles down the road.

Reserved a site for 6 weeks months ago! When we got to the campground we were told they only do daily rentals a week at a time. When asked why we weren’t getting a monthly rate we were told they had no more monthly sites which made no sense because our site did have an electric meter. They also told us people always have a change of plans! We would have stayed the six weeks but we decided to look for another campground. Country Oaks does not have the lower prices as advertised. We found another campground which gave us a monthly rate and stayed for the overpriced one week!

The site was nice, did have good internet and priced reasonable. Problem is I specifically asked if this was a pet friendly place and I was told yes with no other comments. I also reviewed their website and no mention of them having issue with "certain breeds". Considering we had already spent one night there before they noticed we had a German shepherd and that they are an "aggressive breed". Why does that matter when your dog is on a leash? It being a holiday they were "gracious" enough to let us stay our final night.
Also I personal don't think mowing on Memorial day is the best time, but that
