The Golf Club of South Georgia is an affordable golf destination conveniently located only 10 miles north of Tifton and only 2 miles from Interstate 75. The course was designed among a beautiful pecan orchard with gently rolling hills overlooking Mar-Jan Lake. Your experience here will be made memorable by our beautiful scenery and our well maintained player friendly course.
The golf course was designed by Don MacMillan with special consulting work from E. Ray Jensen and opened for play in 1992. Our par 72 public course offers five sets of tees for all levels of play with yardages ranging from 4,702 yards to 6,889 yards. Lake Mar-Jan comes into play on four holes, and three ponds come into play on another four holes, highlighted by our signature par 3 island green.

Report
Membership includes preferred tee times, unlimited driving range privileges, and 2 golf lessons per year (excludes our social and fishing memberships). All membership dues that are paid up front will receive a discount. There is no initiation fee at this time. Military rates are available upon request.

If the wedding party is ONLY rehearsing and then going elsewhere for dinner, there is no additional cost. If you would like to have your rehearsal dinner at The Golf Club of South Georgia, there is an additional fee of $200. Note: We do not provide dinner-You must provide your own caterers.
If you would like to have your rehearsal dinner at The Golf Club of South Georgia, but are not using the golf course for any other wedding day event, the cost is $250.
