This place is a joke. It's just some rv spots crammed together on this tiny property. Absolutely no amenities at all. Which would be fine for a night or two, but the owner is a angry, rude, boomer. Not only a very aggressive and judgemental person but also will take advantage of you for financial gain. It was really ridiculous and sad. Definitely one of the worst rv campgrounds I've ever been to and I've stayed at hundreds.

Nice, quiet, small campground with a very nice and personable manager, Mike. If you are looking for amenities, this is not the campground for you, but if you are looking for clean, comfortable and quiet, give it a try.

This is long BUT PLS read all (We are full timers)
We pulled into Town Mountain Tavel Park on Wed. Aug 11th. Mike the owner greeted us and even noticed my S/O wasn't feeling quite right so Mike helped me set up the camper. The next cpl days Mike checked in with us to see how S/O was doing.
On Tues. Aug 17th (the day before we were to leave) my S/o was admitted to hospital. Mike came over asked if I needed anything and told me not to worry that he would help with whatever I needed.
Aug 25th Mike informed me that he was booked over labor day weekend so I'd have to move. I explained to him S/O

We were about to give up at finding an RV park to stay. It was the start of Labor Day weekend and fortunately we called Town Mountain Travel Park. A friendly voice greeted us and gave us the good news that a spot had just become available. When we arrived the owner-manager, Mike, greeted us like old friends. He clearly is a people person and a dog lover … he and our little dog became fast friends and “Bear” learned that any time with Mike would include treats!
Our RV is 42’ and we tow a Jeep, so some places we’ve stayed have been a challenge! But the site we had at Town Mountain was

Great little spot in Hendersonville, NC. Stayed for 2 weeks in August and have no complaints. Mike is the park manager and is very friendly and genuinely helpful. It's close to downtown and a large number of NC mountain destinations. We highly recommend Town Mountain Travel Park.

We are newbies and this was our first trip with our new travel trailer. The manager, Mike, was excellent to work with both before we arrived and once getting there. He helped us with a LOT of questions we had as newbies and never made us feel like we were a bother. This was the perfect spot for us. We will plan to return here often since they have great customer service, clean bathrooms and lovely grounds! Convenient to lots of restaurants and shops not to mention all the activities the beautiful mountains of NC offer.

Stayed a week at Town Mountain Travel Park, I'm a Full-Timer so i spend all my time in RV parks. I understand this place is under new management, and they couldn't be any more friendlier and accommodating! I needed nothing during my stay but each day I witnessed improvements, DAILY. So this place will continue to improve on what was already an enjoyable stay. I will frequent this area more simply because I know I have a great place to stay when I do!
