Services
Surgery
Report
Pelham Animal Clinic is a state-of-the-art small animal hospital that is here for your pet's surgical needs. Prior to surgery, we recommend running bloodwork to determine if your dog or cat has any conditions that cannot be seen by a physical examination. Our compassionate doctor and staff also recommend pain medication to help your pet be as comfortable as possible during and after the surgery.
Pharmacy
Report
Our clinic pharmacy includes the latest antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives available. Dr. Carr attends numerous educational events and conferences each year in order to insure we carry only the best for the life of your pet. We also have a full-line of prescription diets available for your convenience.
Microchipping
Report
Have you ever lost a pet? It is one of the worst feelings that a pet parent may have to endure. Today however, there is a much greater chance of your pet returning home if they are microchipped. Each microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, and they are inserted just under your pet's skin between the shoulder blades.
Radiography
Report
When an external exam simply does not provide all the answers for your pet, our hospital is equipped with advanced imaging technology to help diagnose their issues. X-Ray imaging allows Dr. Carr to make immediate decisions for the health of your pet. In the majority of cases, our experienced doctor can use the radiograph to determine what may be wrong with your dog or cat.
Pain Management
Report
Pelham Animal Clinic is equipped with a complete pharmacy and can help reduce the pain your pet may be facing. Surgical procedures are painful for people as well as pets. We recommend preventative pain management for all of our surgeries. Also, many pets develop arthritis and other age-related pain and joint issues as they get older.
