At the Ocean First Swim School, we provide a fun, supportive and comfortable environment to learn new swimming skills. Our private facility, small class sizes, and 89°F heated indoor pool allow swimmers to focus on learning new skills and not worry about their comfort in the water. With classes tailored for children as young as 6 months, it is never too soon to introduce your kids to the water.
Marine Science

TIDES is a multi-year experiential program for grades 7-12 that combines marine science, scuba diving, and fieldwork to unlock students' natural curiosities for the sea. Ocean First Education develops engaging and interactive science curricula for students, teachers, and divers on a wide range of marine subjects.

Ocean First Education has developed a series of marine science courses to teach divers about the ocean, its inhabitants, and what you can do to help protect our greatest natural resource. Thanks to our 10-year partnership with SSI, you can now earn an official certification when you complete the online and classroom portions of the following ecology courses.
Marine Science Camps

The Ocean First Swim School is proud to offer a Summer Mini-Camp that introduces children ages 4-8 to the fascinating world of marine science through crafts, games, and storytelling. Topics range from the importance of mangroves on a coastal environment to the purpose of blubber in arctic animals. After an engaging time in the classroom, students hop in the pool for a full swim lesson.
