Original 40 Brewing is a neighborhood brewery rooted in the heart of North Park, San Diego. Founded by longtime local business owners Steve and Patricia Billings, our establishment blends a deep commitment to craft beer excellence with a welcoming atmosphere for families and pets. Our in-house brewers collaborate with regional and national breweries to create a diverse lineup of 24 rotating taps, featuring IPAs, stouts, lagers, and seasonal specialties. Love this brewery so much! Great place to hang out with friends and catch up! Beer is flavorful and the food is great! Also love the decor on the inside, really cool and unique. They window seats and an outdoor space.

Picked up a beet & goat cheese salad from here the other night and was pretty good. The take away salad came w basically a hot tub of goat cheese (which was epic), fresh beets, arugula, nuts, and dressing. The staff was very friendly and it seems like a great place to hang. Will be back to try some more food and brews soon.

Food was decent enough, beer was good. But, they added twenty percent to my bill without notice and hours after I had left the brewery. The cashier did not give me the option of leaving a tip with my card, so I left cash at the table. Apparently that was not good enough and they decided fraud was the answer. Called up to sort it out and they said they would call me back that night or the next day. That was three days ago.

Hands down. Our new favorite place. The beer was fantastic and cold. The tacos were simple and amazing. The conversation and the staff were simply enlightening. Super proud of our North Park Family. Cheers please support local

I know I'm usually giving 5 stars here in San Diego but it's all true. I cannot have a reason on giving less than that. Because the environment is great, the food is really good, the drinks are unique, the place is clean and the decoration was well thought; nothing left to improvisation. The service is excellent and I had a great time, so most of the places Inratebwith 5 stars have all that. I cannot help it, but to share my experience and this one was also a 5 rate experience. I tried the Unique Physique Mexican Chocolate and as entrances the poulitine and the goat cheese dip. Both delicious and
