Parker Education
Parker Education, established in 1986, serves the educational needs of families. Programs include Parker Academy, educational planning, 1:1 tutoring, and standardized test preparation. In 1986 I started a small tutoring service in Concord, NH. We had so much fun teaching students one on one. Over the years the practice evolved and grew to include a school and a wider range of services.

What hasn't changed is our belief that all children can learn and that quality relationships lay the foundation for quality learning.
Services
About
Report
In December of 1986, David Parker borrowed $400 from his father and purchased a few chairs so he could start tutoring kids who were struggling at local schools. He then rented one room on South Main Street in Concord and soon the growing tutoring business moved to several rooms in an office building on Green Street.
Academy
Report
Each student goes through a comprehensive admissions process that determines the appropriateness of the placement and lays the groundwork for designing his or her individualized program based on strengths and needs. Students attend Parker Academy for a variety of reasons. Some have learning differences or emotional needs.

Special Education
Report
We work closely with a large number of school districts across the state in providing a private placement alternative for their students. Parents who are interested in financial support from their local school district should feel free to contact us so that we can explain the process. Or, they may contact their local school district directly.
Academic Programs
Report
The curriculum is comprehensive and is based on the assumption that students need skills as well as specific content. All our academic programs teach the study skills that are necessary to master a subject. Technologies including computers, video, and distance learning are utilized, but not at the expense of traditional teaching methods.
