West Jersey Music Academy was founded in 2017 to provide high-quality music lessons to children in South Jersey. Since its inception, students of all ages have taken lessons in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and drums, and they have developed a deep appreciation for and love of music. West Jersey Music Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) school located in Moorestown, New Jersey.

Music Together

The universal language of music transcends boundaries. It touches the depths of our souls, helps us express our common emotions, and inspires us all. Music Together connects families and communities, in over 40 countries, as they express and explore the basic instinct to make music. Children from birth and until they are ready for school are naturals at "speaking" the international language of music.
Programs for Students with Diverse Needs

WJMA offers special needs music programs, which include private lessons in voice, violin, Cajon drum and piano, as well as Special Music Together classes for preschool and kindergarten children. The building has adequate ramps, parking spaces and access for those who are physically disabled. If the student's participation and experience in the music program is positive, lessons may be continued for the next 5-weeks.

All students can experience and create music when given the opportunity in a safe and nurturing setting. We give students with learning differences the power to express themselves creatively in a comfortable environment. When music students use their senses to openly communicate, cognition improves, social and physical skills are enhanced, self-esteem builds, and a love of music is nurtured.
