Our team of physicians, nurses, and medical staff is committed to providing a nurturing, supportive environment. We are thankful for having had the privilege of caring for mothers, daughters, and now granddaughters during our time in the community. We moved to Raleigh 7 years ago from Nashville, TN, where I loved my OB.

Raleigh OB/GYN is pleased to be located on the campus of UNC REX Healthcare, the oldest hospital in Raleigh that was founded by John T. Rex in 1864. Dedicated centers for cancer, heart and vascular, surgical services, orthopedic, neurology, pain management, sleep disorders, and women's health. UNC REX has multiple facilities in Apex, Cary, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Wakefield, and Raleigh.

A graduate of medical school at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Dr. Segal is passionate about serving patients at Raleigh OB/GYN Centre. A native of Texas, Dr. Brimmage has enjoyed making North Carolina his home and his patients at Raleigh OB/GYN Centre his family. To Dr Brimmage, family comes first.
Alan B. Segal, MD

Dr. Segal relocated to North Carolina in 1994. He attended medical school at SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, NY. He went on to complete his residency at the University of North Carolina Memorial Hospital at Chapel Hill.
Fluent in Spanish, he is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the North Carolina Medical Society and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.Dr. Segal resides in the area with his wife, Anne, and his 3 children, 2 girls and a boy.

Brian C. Brimmage, MD

Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Dr. Brimmage left the state of Texas to attend undergrad at Harvard University. After graduation, he worked as a chemist, in business management, and as a high school teacher, before finally finding his calling in medicine. Dr. Brimmage attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
