In my practice, I have found that most mental health concerns are often a result of an imbalance in one or more areas of your brain function. This imbalance affects everything in your daily life. I can help strengthen your brain's pathways to support new ways of thinking and new positive behaviors.

From these new pathways, your confidence, focus, and sense of well-being will be enhanced. Your mind and body are closely connected, so a change in one area can be recognized throughout your life. When your brain is balanced, balance in life quickly follows. Deep down, you know that you have gifts, talents, and a unique personality that is valuable and exceptional.
Services
About
Report
Your effort and courage to reach out and work toward self-improvement are to be respected. I am interested in your story. With a little humor and genuine attention, you will find the environment in my office is to be safe and comfortable. Seeing a therapist is about helping you gain greater insight into yourself: how you deal with stress and trauma, and its implications on your relationships, career, motivation, success, etc.
Individual Therapy
Report
The changes you have tried have been band-aids, and you are realizing that surface solutions have led to surface improvements. Even though that negative voice in your head is screaming that this is an act of weakness, reaching out for help is an act of courage. Well, change is hard. But therapy provides an ally and a safe place to help you explore you - as well as help you through the difficult moments and issues of life.
Neurofeedback
Report
If you are like me, you like getting to a solution quickly and concisely. Drugs don't. They throw a chemical at your body hoping some of it will get to the right place; hoping the rest of it doesn't cause too many side effects. There is another, efficient, and non-invasive treatment called neurofeedback that directly addresses the actual source of mental health problems - the brain.
QEEG Brain Mapping
Report
Of the many wonderful and interesting aspects of neurofeedback, the brain map is perhaps the most insightful. A brain map can visually show you the battle waging in your head between negativity and positivity. It can help identify past trauma, your unique "fight" or "flight" response, and, among many other things, your cognitive strengths and weaknesses.
EFM Training
Report
EFM Training (Executive Functioning and Mindfulness training) is a neurofeedback method that I have developed over many years that is unique in its ability to correct brain patterns associated with self-regulation and improve mindfulness. Executive functioning refers to the brain's ability to regulate our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.
