I highly recommend Valley Care and Rehab to people who are looking to live or work in long-term care. It definitely does not have a facility vibe, instead it is like a second family. There is always someone to greet you with a smile on their face when you walk through the doors. Whether it is the administrator, director of nursing, office staff, nursing staff or a resident, someone will be ready and willing to start up a conversation. I had the opportunity to work there under the current management and was provided a great learning experience which has helped me tremendously in my career

I can't say anything from a residents perspective but I can attest to staffing. They have a very high turnover rate, with department heads that are impossible to please. It is not a good work environment you will often experience the "cold shoulder" from the owners along with dirty looks and an overall negative feeling. You may be great at your job but if they don't like you on a personal level they will find another reason to fire you and hide behind that reason.
