At Longhorn Automotive we specialize in repairing and maintaining automotive transmissions. We work with the most advanced parts of an automobile and focus on hydraulic pumps, couplings, and gear trains. We repair, maintain, or install motors. We also inspect and test equipment to locate damage or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, or read work orders or schematic drawings to determine required repairs.

I really love this garage - it's such a dependable shop! Pepé and his team are just absolutely wonderful, friendly, and talented professionals. I really trust them, and enjoy their willingness to make the impossible possible! Their competitive rates and warranty are really appreciated too! We went to a different shop in town and they quoted us around $700 for an AC repair. We then brought the vehicle over to Longhorn, they checked it out, and discovered that the issue was actually much smaller than we initially thought. Ended up paying less than half that to get the AC fixed. This was our second experience with Longhorn, and they're always honest and offer great pricing.

Needed brake work, my usual mechanic is on the other side of town and usually to busy to get in right away so I was browsing for a new place closer to home and found Longhorn automotive. The were responsive, able to fit me in quickly, talked me through the various options, and got the job done on time at a good price. I'll definitely be back!

I am soooo beyond grateful for my experience at Longhorn Automotive. Ian helped me out and was so helpful and friendly, ran a computer diagnostic on my car and had it ready in 4 HOURS!! Pepe and his team are amazing! My car wouldn't start on Saturday morning and luckily I live just behind their shop and they came over to my house to diagnose the issue. I thought it was the starter because lights, radio, and AC would turn on but they figured out it was just a bad battery. Pepe was so nice, great to talk to and willingly to help me out. So grateful for these awesome guys! We will continue to have them service our vehicles! Thanks Pepe!!

I'm not a car guy, so an honest mechanic is a must for me. Longhorn Automotive is exactly that. They are transparent and forthcoming about all options and their recommendations aren't automatically the ones that make them the most money. Look no further! Do yourself a favor and take your car to Longhorn Automotive now! I was referred to Longhorn Automotive by another mechanic. After feeling super frustrated by being priced gouged by other mechanics or being turned away by other places who weren't equipped to do the work on my truck. These guys are the absolute best. They were recommended by a car mechanic friend so I had some measure of confidence but the minute I walked in the door any lingering concerns disappeared. Pepe suggested a few additional repairs beyond what the service schedule suggested, andI didn't doubt him for a minute. The car was ready when promised and it looked brand new. When I drove away it felt like a new car, not just clean, but the ride was smooth and everything just clicked.

Had my starter replaced, 3 days later it died snd towed to a different location. Longhorn did tow it to their location to fix. Then It was suppose to be done and I get a call they got the wrong part. It’s not our fault he says. I don’t need to hear it’s not your fault, I just want my vehicle fixed. I had just dropped my rental off and had to walk… back to get another. I was told I would get a check for the $80 for the extra rental. I’ve texted, called, even gave them my address again to mail me a check. No response, I won’t go back there again. Don’t say

I have taken every car I've owned here for service and they do a great job and are extremely fast compared to other places. They can do a big job within one day in time for me to take it to work the next day. I trust them to know exactly what needs to be done and the reality of the situation. Normally places like jiffy lube or Firestone have lied to me or talked up a small problem but longhorn never does that and they give it to me for the cheapest they can. This is a good place for things like maintenance, engine work, new and used tires, and every in between.

In typical me fashion, I waited until this morning to do something I should have done three days ago…only to have my inaction come back and bite me in the you-know-where when my wife’s car wasn’t ready for her to drive to work. Argh.

My Check Engine light started flashing on an already-crummy day, so I pulled into AutoZone for a diagnosis. After getting the codes, the guys there recommended Longhorn, just down the street. I pulled in around 3 PM, and Pepe greeted me with a smile and a wave from inside one of the bays. He quickly came over to talk through and check out the… problem. I was amazed when he said he might have it done by end of day, next late morning latest. When I said I might wait to see if he had it done today, just in case, he thought a minute and then said he'd get it done for me. I was floored yet again

I ran my car..into someone else's car. The axle was bent pretty bad and several automotive shops wouldn't even touch it. I went to Longhorn Automotive because it was next to my house and I wasn't able to drive very far. I'm glad I did! Pepe explained to me what needed to be done and how he was going to do it, which I was thankful for because I know nothing about cars. I compared the price he quoted me to the parts online and he gave me a really great deal. He also texted me progress photos throughout the whole process which only took about 2 days, when I expected it to take
