My name is Shawn Ebbinghaus, owner and head repair technician of All Star Appliance Repair in Summit County, Colorado. I've been a resident of Summit County for 28 years, and I chose to start my own business and raise my family in this beautiful mountain community. My family and I love the outdoors - snowboarding, skateboarding, biking, hiking and blue skies.
I love what I do. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been taking things apart and putting them back together. I have over 15 years experience working on all makes and models of household appliances, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers, disposals, washing machines and dryers. Shawn was terrific. After our dryer failed, he was able to come out the next day, and assessed the problem and fixed our dryer within minutes. He provided quick and concise communication via text and email.
He even sat with our lab and petted him while waiting to ensure the dryer would work. And since it was so quick, he only charged me half price. Highly recommend!

Shawn was able to come to my house the next day to fix my dryer. The problem was minor, and he found it within minutes. He didn't have the part available but gave me all the information I needed to order it myself, saving another service call. And (I think) because it was such a quick service call he spent another 45 minutes making sure my W/D were positioned for optimum performance, gave me advice on how to clean them, advice on the best products when the time came to replace them etc. I took a page of notes to be used in the future.

I have been using All Star Appliance Repair for over four years. The quality of service is excellent, the work always lasts, and the team delivers on what they promise. They have repaired, over the years, a washer, dryer, the ignition on my oven, and my ice maker in my freezer that broke. Also offered guidance on how to keep my appliances running better at high altitude which I very much appreciate.

I have a vacation home in Silverthorne and Shawn was called to check out a broken oven by my management company. Even though the oven was not able to be repaired, he assisted in helping me chose the best replacement and came back to install it at no additional cost. Shawn and his crew are awesome! Even though I called All Star over the weekend, while Shawn was out of town, he still responded, asking questions about what was wrong with our microwave, and scheduled a time to come by upon his return. Shawn was able to repair our microwave in one quick visit!! This was actually our second time calling All Star for help. With our first call, regarding our stove, Shawn showed up within the hour, replaced the heating element and even offered suggestions on how to prevent breaking the element in the future. Shawn is the best, most reliable and professional appliance repair person I have worked with. He answers calls, he responds quickly and communicates well about what needs to be done and when he can do it. He shows up and completes the work when he says he will.
