Founded in 1948 by Windward Oahu farmers, Hawaii Farm Bureau has grown into a statewide organization representing approximately 2,000 member families across eleven counties. I was so excited to hear about the Farm to Car initiative. I went online, set up an account & placed my order. The pickup with fast & easy. Great people working & everyone wearing masks. When I got home, I opened my box from Aloun farms and saw my veggies & herbs. The herbs were a bit wilty, but good enough. The onions, zucchini & green beans were all good too. However, the broccoli was old and turning yellow and brown. You can also smell that it's going bad. Completely inedible. That was a huge disappointment because I had already made meal plans for the broccoli. Now

L-O-V-E, yes I love the job that the great people at the Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation does on their weekly farmers markets, especially the Wednesday night at the Blaisdell Center and the Thursday night in Kailua. It makes it a lot easier for me to eat healthy with all of the great vendors that they are able to find to make their farmers markets such a success.
