NORA's unique SOAR program helps guests and groups with mobility disabilities enjoy adaptive outdoor recreation.
Venues include our private 75-acre mountain top facility in Ellenville, NY and Hunter Mountain Ski Resort. Our certified instructors and professional guides provide a highly structured learning experience with focus on safety. Since 2011, Team NORA has professionally instructed over 7,000 students for off-road driving and vehicle recovery skills.

An off-road driving school just 90 miles from NYC? While some folks loved the idea, a few did not. My dreams of creating & running a passion-based business faced organized opposition, financial impossibilities, legal challenges, countless late nights and new obstacles after each challenge was cleared.

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel up to the day of the class (you must notify us by phone or email) and receive a full credit for another class or NORA activity for up to 12 months. Credit only, no refunds. NORA has received Trip Advisor Awards for consistently earning great reviews from travelers.

I can't say enough good things about NORA and their entire staff. After the first class with NORA we did not just leave there with a wealth of knowledge, we felt like me made some new friends. We were absolutely right. We were graciously invited back by the staff at NORA for an amazing day of off roading fun and a food/toy drive to help their local families.

Having worked with over 7,000 clients since 2011, we are pleased to offer an amazing day of customized off road training for up to 4 occupants per vehicle! Our private 75 acre mountain training center has been specifically built to train off-road driving and recovery scenarios.
