Since 1934, The Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music has offered private music lessons of the highest quality in an elegant nineteenth-century mansion on the Main Line. Its faculty comprises professional musicians from around the world who are dedicated to the ideal of providing serious and inspiring instruction in classical music to students of all ages and levels.

Each student, from the youngest beginner to the most advanced pre-professional, is given individual care and guidance. Emphasis is placed on proper development of musicianship and technique according to time-tested traditional methods. Learn more about us today! In February, Elizabeth Carpenter, a student of Kimberly Trolier, was first-chair flutist in the All-Catholic Band Festival at Little Flower High School.

In keeping with the founder's conviction that beautiful music is best made in a beautiful environment, the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music is housed in an elegant Main Line mansion dating from the 1870s. Each of its eight teaching studios is provided with a Steinway grand piano and is decorated with artwork of a particular style or period.
Performance Opportunities

From joint student recitals to full solo recitals, The Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music's recital room is active from September to May each year. Performing in a live setting is critical for musical growth the development. Student Recitals take place in the intimate setting of the Conservatory's Concert Room from time to time throughout the year.
Flute Lessons

Dr. Trolier holds the degrees of Bachelor and Master of Music from the Peabody Conservatory of Music; and she received both the Professional Studies Certificate and the Doctorate of Musical Arts from the Esther Boyer College of Music at Temple University, where her principal teachers were David Cramer and Kazuo Tokito.
Guitar Lessons

Dr. Pardo received the Artist Diploma of the Panama National Institute of Music and holds the degree of Master of Music in Guitar as well as a doctorate in Composition from Temple University. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University.
