Evaluation Services
Report
Using the information provided below, decide which one of our five evaluation services best suits your needs. Educational Evaluation (Document by Document): This type of evaluation assesses the foreign academic credentials of the applicant. The evaluation determines the applicant's level of education in the United States (degree equivalence), the number of years completed and the degree specialization of the applicant.
Educational Evaluations
Report
This report lists and describes all accredited university diplomas, certificates, degrees, periods of education by government-recognized educational institutions, and equates these documents to the U.S. equivalent (e.g., Bachelor, Master, Doctorate, etc.). Only study leading to a university degree is included in AETS evaluations.
Course by Course Evaluation
Report
This type of evaluation lists the courses the applicant has taken, the grades received and the credit equivalence in the United States. It is required for CPA examinations, teacher certifications and licensing or membership in professional associations. Original or notarized copies of academic transcripts.
Work Experience Evaluations
Report
This type of report evaluates the individual's previous work experience (and education, if applicable). AETS Work Experience Evaluations follow the USCIS "three-for-one" rule. This rule states that three years of work experience can be substituted for one year of academic study in order to equate the work experience to a U.S. Bachelor's degree.
