Services
Pain Management
Our comprehensive pain management approach addresses both acute and chronic pain through personalized treatment plans. We combine physical medicine, rehabilitation techniques, and interventional procedures to target pain at its source while considering emotional and lifestyle factors. With board-certified specialists and over 26 years of clinical experience, we help patients regain functionality and improve quality of life through evidence-based practices.
Spinal Injections
Specialized spinal injection treatments target pain relief through precise, image-guided techniques. Our board-certified physicians have performed over 67,000 spinal injections using advanced fluoroscopic guidance. These procedures address conditions like degenerative disc disease and nerve damage while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and procedural proficiency through continuous medical education.
CME Courses
Our accredited continuing medical education courses train physicians in interventional spinal techniques using the innovative STICK-IT-TO-ME model. These hands-on workshops cover lumbar, cervical, and sympathetic injection techniques with a 1:1 faculty-to-attendee ratio. Participants gain practical skills through structured curricula designed to enhance proficiency in pain management procedures while earning certification through rigorous evaluation.
Clinical Trials
We conduct Phase III clinical trials for advanced pain treatments like Mesoblast's REXLEMESTROCEL-L therapy. These studies evaluate novel approaches for chronic lower back pain through controlled, multi-visit protocols. Participants receive stipends while contributing to medical advancements, with strict adherence to research ethics and patient safety standards throughout the 24-month study duration.
Patient Education
Our patient education programs empower individuals to understand and manage their pain effectively. Through personalized consultations and instructional materials, we teach patients to describe pain characteristics, track symptoms, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers. This approach fosters active patient participation in treatment plans while promoting long-term pain management strategies.

I have never had anything but an amazing experience in the time (just over 2 years) that Ive been a patient. There hasnt been a provider nor employee that Id have anything negative to say about, until today when I arrived at 2:12 for my 2:00 appointment. Although it was my mistake, I was under the impression my appointment was at 2:15. Once the patient coordinator offered to see what she could do, another staff member, Betty I believe her name to be, chimed in from the peanut gallery she shouldve been here at 2:00.
Fortunately Mary, the office manager offered to assist me to

I saw DR. K for around 4 years, we never got around to fixing my pain, just refill my script and make the next appointment. When I wanted to come off of my meds I didn't get any help from him. He once did a disc a gram (sp?) with no anesthesia, I don't know if anyone has ever had one of those but, it is best when the patient has anesthesia. It's been a few years since I saw him, hopefully he's not as bad as when I went.

Doc Kahan is scary. I used to go there, but things seem to be unraveling in this office ever since they moved and he fired some doctors. One day he says he is taking all of his patients off of pain medication, next day he changes his mind, then weaning everybody off again. His patients lives are at stake, so lots of patients have a lot of anxiety when they have to see him because he is very inconsistent and moody and to me he seems to lack empathy. He does, however, hire very well. Kim is the best PA around, the front desk staff is great.
