Dr. David Momnie began Chicopee Eyecare in 1974 when he assumed the office of his late father, Dr. Paul Momnie, who practiced optometry in Chicopee from 1950 to 1967. He is the recipient of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Burns is from Manchester, Connecticut. Dr. Camille Guzek-Latka is a co-owner of Chicopee Eyecare and has been with the practice for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Chicopee Eyecare, Dr. Guzek-Latka practiced with a renowned Springfield Eye Surgeon for 10 years. We are all continually staying abreast of the latest advances in eye research, education, and technology. We have tried our best to make our office as handicapped accessible as possible, but are limited by certain structural conditions.

Our services include comprehensive adult and pediatric eye examinations, the treatment of eye diseases and injuries and emergency care. We prescribe medications when necessary as well as glasses and contact lenses. We recognize that some eye problems are beyond our skills and know when and where to refer our patients to the best specialists.
