I believe Ive fished on the Black Rock 4 times, over the course of about 10 years. In each case weve had a fantastic time. Capt Sloan and his mate Charlie are both friendly, helpful and make sure everyone has a great trip. Ive always had great success with the fishing too, knock on wood. Very highly recommended!

Had a great day with Capt Sloan and Charlie Black Rock Fishing. The knowledge he has of fishing is unbelievable, not only do you fish but they teach you each step of the way answering any and all questions with constant patience.This experience is always enjoyable fun and one of a kind, Capt. Sloan never dissapoints. We caught huge Striped Bass and Sea bass. This trip is looked forward to all year because of the experience, knowledge, and personality he brings. Black Rock fishing with Capt. Sloan out of Orient Point needs to be your fishing choice beginner or experienced. You will never be dissapointed

Just do it. Almost 50 years of going out and today was as good as it gets. Fishing was super but Capt. and crew made the trip. Great people and could put a newbie on fish.
