We moved into a new home and had our fireplace and chimney inspected by Buck. He is super knowledgeable, very accommodating and very helpful. He is concerned for our safety and our pocketbooks. He couldve suggested a very expensive fix, but did the right thing and repaired a simple problem. We also had him clean our dryer vent for a small cost. Very well worth it. We will only use this company as long as Buck is there!

After contacting a number of companies to try having our dryer vent cleaned in our 3 story townhome, I found Swept Away. Upon arrival, just through discussion they had an idea of what the issue could be and found it to be correct - the roofers that recently replaced the roof covered the vent cap with a screen causing about a 1/2" layer of lent to become trapped and blocking air flow from the exhaust vent. Not only did they clear the vent, but they also provided a copy of the building codes which outlines that the vent can not be screened. We will be using them in the future for normal maintenance
