I find that my first-time clients are more comfortable if they know a little about me before they stand in front of me for a couple hours to strike a pose and pretend it's all totally normal! First, I want you to know that I don't really love to have my photo taken either (I know, I know!), so I can empathize with those who feel the same.

As a mother of 4 little ones, I'm still surprised when I talk with a new client and realize some of my own memories that have begun to fade.

Of all my photo session, newborn photography sessions are my very favorite. They are the sessions that make me so thankful to be a photographer. When pregnant mommas call me to block out some time for their teeny baby I can feel an internal smile, all the way down to my toes! I love being a newborn photographer.
