Our community and school locations throughout Metro Atlanta ensure all kids have access to play. No matter who they are. Play pickup or join one of our StationSoccer leagues to help sustain our youth programming. You pay so our kids don't have to. StationSoccer breaks down transportation barriers faced by youth and creates hubs of community engagement.
We rode on MARTA to East Point from the airport, and had a chance, with Mayor Ingraham, to visit the East Point Exchange Development. We saw a soccer field built in partnership with MARTA by an organization called Soccer in the Streets-demonstrating what's possible when community assets are a source of value for all.

What We Do
Report
Soccer in the Streets creates young leaders who live rich lives and cultivate healthy communities. We pursue leveling the playing field for all, affording access to the sport regardless of race, gender, religion, or socioeconomic status. We bring young, bright, culturally competent role models to inspire youngsters to follow the right path and educate the youth to opportunities that may be available to them.
History
Report
Soccer in the Streets draws on over 30 years of experience in developing sports-based youth development programs in low-income communities. SITS pioneered the idea of combining soccer with education, life skills, and community development, going where "no soccer program has gone before." The organization was founded by Carolyn McKenzie in 1989 in Jonesboro, GA.
Referee Program
Report
We are offering a referee program to our youth players! This program is important for the kids as they can get the first-hand experience at a job opportunity. We know there is a lack of entry-level jobs for teenagers. There is also a lack of screened, trained, and certified referees, and many quit after only a short time.
StationSoccerâ„¢ - The Story
Report
StationSoccer is a city-wide community project built around a vision to create a network of mini soccer fields and more, anchored by MARTA transit stations in Atlanta. Affordability and transportation hurdles mean many kids in metro Atlanta area do not have access to safe places to play soccer nor the resources required to travel.
StationSoccerâ„¢ - Adult Soccer
Report
We're committed to leveling the playing field so that all youth can play soccer and find new opportunities in life regardless of where they live. Each dollar you pay to play in one of our leagues or events helps a kid play in a free soccer program in Atlanta. These fees are an opportunity to invest in our youth's future, so go ahead and support the kid's right to play while competing in one of our social or competitive leagues!
