Harrigan & Brient, Inc. was started as a family bookkeeping and tax business in 1981 by Robert Harrigan and Suzanne Brient, Suzanne Whitney's parents. Their goal was to offer small businesses and individuals personalized service not offered from the large corporate or franchised tax offices. Suzanne Whitney has worked for Harrigan & Brient, Inc. since 1983 and purchased the company from her parents in 2007.
