The mission of balanced living is to provide a place where not only yoga, but other modalities based on mind, body and spirit can be practiced. Our goal is to support the health and well-being of our local community with affordable classes taught by qualified teachers, and to further support our local community with regular fundraising events for charitable causes.
We also aim to provide a place for all religions, races and ages, a sacred space in which practitioners may practice and share their unique talents and healing arts. We are located at 101 River Street, the front of the building where Huntington Bank is located. Entrance to the studio is on the side of the building along River Street.

All equipment necessary to perform classes are available at the studio for use at no charge. We do recommend that you dress comfortably, bring some water or something to drink and possibly a towel. The most important thing though. Yoga is about finding your balance. Balance while holding postures, balance within the body systems and balance in your life.

I began my yoga journey in 2004. The effect it had on me was subtle, but over time I noticed a tangible shift in my perspective and my ability to handle situations. I found a sense of freedom and personal growth from the focus on mindfulness in yoga, and I continue to be inspired by what yoga teaches me about myself, the world, and the intimate connection between the two.

Help Support our Goddess Project by donating feminine hygiene products at the studio, which will be donated to the local food pantry. Did you know that girls and women in communities all across the United States are missing school and work because they simply can't afford basic necessities like tampons and pads?
