Our Story

Legacy Travel opened in April of 1989. Located in Plano, Texas we have been making vacation dreams come true ever since. Early in our journey we did corporate travel but quickly found that we loved doing vacations more than anything. You can read about all of the awards received by Legacy Travel here.

We use our knowledge of the destinations/resorts to match you with the best vacation for you. Again, you're unique. Your best vacation isn't like anyone elses. We can often accept a low deposit while the online travel sites usually require payment in full.

This was our first experience using Legacy Travel, and Marty did a phenomenal job! Our accommodations in Hawaii were spectacular, and everything about our trip went perfectly. Legacy Travel in Plano has now helped us with four trips, the last to Italy and Switzerland. Each trip has been meticulously planned with hotel rooms from charming and historic to elegant and pampering.
