Vanguard Foundation

The thread that ties us together is our educational experience at Vanguard College Preparatory School. Vanguard Parent Crew (VPC) has a long tradition of raising money that provides Vanguard School with many extra educational supplies, faculty support, and assistance that tuition. Vanguard has taken first place in the TAPPS Division II orchestra competition for the state of Texas!

In the years I have served as the Head of School at Vanguard, I've come to realize that both students and their parents value the same things about Vanguard. Because we are a relatively small private school with around 215 students, we offer opportunities and an environment that cannot be found at other schools in central Texas.

To me, the motto of "Rigor, Respect, Responsibility" challenges students to become the best versions of themselves during their time at Vanguard. Vanguard teaches us how to be capable leaders in the world beyond high school, and in my opinion, that hope for success is precisely what the Vanguard motto represents more than anything else.

Founded in 1973, Vanguard College Preparatory School is a private, independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school for students in grades 7-12. Enrollment varies year-to-year, but is generally about 215. Qualified students are admitted regardless of race, religion, or ethnic origin. Our collegiate style, 8.5 acre campus is completely wireless.
