Linda Carlson, Owner of Dog's Life of Pinehurst, is a committed seasoned Grooming Professional who brings 30+ years of Grooming Experience and talent to the grooming table. Linda has won numerous awards along the way including a Silver Medal at Intergroom, the worlds largest International Grooming Competition and Trade Show.
Linda is on the staff of Intergroom and has been attending this show, held in New Jersey every spring, continuously, for over 30 years. Linda is also a teaching professional for the grooming industry as well, having taught individual students the fine art of grooming over the years, as well as teaching at seminars at several different competitive grooming venues, including multiple years at Intergroom.

We certainly understand and appreciate that not all breeds of dogs need to be clipped and/or scissored to look and feel beautiful. We call these types of dogs our "Bath Dog" clients and consist mainly of Labrador Retrievers, Chihuahua's, Short Haired Dachshund, Beagles, and the like.
But what theses dogs do need on occasion is a good deep cleansing, professional bath and a solid blow out of all that dead fur and skin that we just got up and mobile.In addition to the basics of the task they also look for and treat skin or allergy conditions when they are spotted with a conditioning bath product so that your dog will feel comfortable in their own skin, so to speak, after the conditioning is done.

Just like you need to have your teeth brushed regularly ( like daily!) for a variety of good hygiene and health, your dogs' teeth need regular attention and proper cleaning as well. Although we are not equipped to do the type of deep scaling and cleaning your veterinarian provides, because they typically do anesthesia with their process, we certainly can do some preventative brushing and cleaning along the way.
