The philosophy at Spokane Gymnastics is to offer an exceptional experience for every child; from preschoolers learning the fundamentals, to "playground heroes" showing off cartwheels at recess, to high-level competitive gymnasts. With that goal in mind, we are excited to once again offer a program that allows instructional gymnasts the opportunity to experience competitive gymnastics and be a part of a team.

We loved taking our kids here. There are a couple awesome coaches! But, it turned sour quickly which is SAD!
Backstory:
Our daughter was ahead of her current students in her current class, then was recommended by the coach to go up to the next level class which was on a different day and time. SO, we switch her classes and added our Son because we liked it so much here. Before signing up for the second time, Our daughter was currently on a waiting list for her school and we finally got accepted to that school after only attending two classes of gymnastics. We called the front desk on Sept 27th

We are so grateful for Spokane Gymnastics!!! Our daughter has low muscle tone and has been in PT since she was an infant. Spokane Gymnastics has made a huge impact in her life. It’s improved her strength and most importantly self-confidence. The coaches as fantastic and encouraged her while learning new skills. We can’t recommend them enough!

Spokane Gymnastics has the perfect blend of recreational gymnastics, parkour and a ninja program for kids who want to have fun, learn new challenging skills and develop a healthy body as well as a competitive program for kids who are serious about gymnastics and competition.
I was very surprised with how diligent they are with their covid precautions, constantly cleaning all the equipment and taking the pandemic seriously so that they can continue offering a safe place for kids to flourish, and doing their part to be a part of the solution rather than a thorn in someone's side.

Spokane Gymnastics has very poor communication and professionalism. When the mask mandate was reinstated it happened to be in the middle of the summer session. The only reason I signed my child up for a session this summer was due to the previous mask mandate stopping. If Spokane Gymnastics was a professional business, they would have sent out an email prior to the new mask date stating something along the lines of "due to the reinstatement of the mandate all will be required to wear a mask. We will also not be accepting any exemptions. If you are unable to do this we will be happy to refund your

A credit was given 3/2020 due to closure. The amount we'd paid was to be doubled if we let it remain, or would be an extra 20% if we decided to take the refund then. This info came from an email directly from the owner. She also stated, in writing, that the credit would not expire and could be transferred. There were multiple problems over the next year, two seasons cancelled at the end, lax sessions, make-up days becoming unavailable, etc...that actually justified the credit.
The owner sent emails saying they would require masks, even though low contact sports aren't under the mandate; they are

We have done two 6 week sessions here now. One just before my daughter was 3 and one now that she is about 3.5. So two different age groups 1-3 and 3-5. These classes are just not well thought out. One teacher cannot possibly coach 6 kids in these age groups for 45 minutes at a time. It’s chaos. Also some coaches encourage the parents to help and others ask that the parents do not help! Well, kids this age do not know your gymnastics terms for the most part and need constant direction and help. To see my daughter at 3 being expected to walk a beam 3 feet off the ground, or do a backward summersault

I have nothing but good things to say about Spokane Gymnastics. The owner, Nadine, is incredibly professional and has put together an amazing team. She's on top of it with everything and making the whole operation run smoothly. My daughter has been here 3 quarters and every coach I've met has been wonderful. My kid loves it. Prices are great and more than fair and they go out of their way to make sure you get your money's worth for make up days, holiday breaks, etc.
You really can't be disappointed by choosing to enroll your child here, for gymnastics or parkour.

The coaches we tried were all very sweet and kind, but didn't actually teach our son (level 1) much. They didn't correct him or really explain well what he was supposed to do and then just let the class play around. We were never able to try out a coach who actually had a gymnastics background aside from when they were kids or not at all. If you want to pay to have your child have fun on gymnastics equipment this place is fine, but if you want skills and discipline, I wouldn't recommend it. It might be different for the more competitive levels, but the level 1 classes were not impressive

This is a beautiful gym with a horrible owner. We had a very bad experience here with my daughter. Because my daughter was moving up levels so fast she was accused of practicing at 2 gyms and then was kicked off of the team for that reason. It was sad and the owner was so mean to my daughter, she put us down and told us we were lying. It was a very weird experience. I reported them to USAG.
I have to say that the Spokane area doesn't have the best gymnastic programs, the gym she went to next was even worse.

Review of birthday party ammemities:
The facilities here are impressive. For birthday parties, you're able to move from room to room as a group, each area hosting an array of equipment and fun stuff to play on. The sheer size of the building is massive, and every area is crammed full of thoughtful and unique obstacles, mats, bouncy things, jumpy things, swinging ropes and bars, pads and so forth.
Out of the four or five places I've been to like this, Spokane Gymnastics is far and away the best. Leagues better than your typical "bounce and play" set-up for example.

I have tried to sign my 3 children up for classes for the past 3 sessions. Each time it is very hard to accommodate my schedule, as I am a fulltime working mother, and my children as 2 of them are of school age. I thought I would call and give it another try. My youngest child was the only one I was able to get a time spot for. I called to verify that the online information was up to date. The girl I spoke with at the front desk stated to me. "There are 4 people on the wait list ahead of your daughter so I highly doubt she will be able to have a spot in this class". I understand scheduling

Love this place! Have been taking my kids here for a little over a year and they both love it. We have had a few different coaches and they have all been great. I myself have even taken an adult class that was pretty fun as well. My husband and I will probably start doing the open gym a couple of nights a month.
