We are the oldest General Tire dealer in the world and have been at our 3870 West Henrietta Rd. location in Rochester, NY for the last 44 years.
Our History

After working at Hood Tire, Leon Lewis Sr. founded Lewis General Tires in 1919 when he established a General Tire franchise at 260 East Avenue. In order to survive the Great Depression, Leon took on 2 partners including a competitor across the street. Post WWII, Leon bought out his partners, intending to pass his company on to one or more of his sons: Leon Jr., Alan, and Richard Sr.
