Flagstaff Soccer Club
Website
Micro Soccer introduces the game of soccer to young players. Flagstaff Micro Soccer utilizes small-sided games (less than 11 players per side) to provide a positive recreational co-ed soccer experience for young children. Small-sided games provide opportunities for more touches on the ball, for a constant transition between attacking and defensive situations, for players to be in a goal scoring position more often, and for a lower player to coach ratio.Micro Soccer offers two separate seasons per year - Fall and Spring.

Coaching Opportunities
Report
Micro Soccer is a great place to begin coaching youth sports. Our simplified rules and low player-to-coach ratio makes it easy to learn the basics of coaching soccer. Many of our coaches start out with little to no soccer experience. If you have a great rapport with kids, the ability to lead, a sense of humor, and lots of patience, you can be a successful coach!
Micro Soccer Rules
Report
Coaches, players, and all spectators are expected to have fun and help each other to foster a supportive and enjoyable environment for all players on both teams. We are all part of Micro Soccer and must work together to help encourage a positive experience for the players. Each team plays with four players without a goalkeeper.
Responsibilities
Report
Around the world, most children learn to play soccer in the street or in the playground. There are no coaches, no referees, just kids having fun. It is said that the game itself is the best teacher. By playing the game, the children will develop their skills and learn intuitively over time where to position themselves.
