CYSA - "Kids First" is the largest state organization within the US Youth Soccer Association. CYSA registers more than 165,000 players annually, ages 4 to 19, and over 35,000 administrators, coaches and volunteers in 142 member leagues of registration. CYSA is dedicated to assisting parents in developing youth as individuals and not just soccer players in a fun, safe and healthy environment for players at every level of the game.

Welcome to our Thirtieth Episode of 'Behind the Bench, ' where we bring on Karl Dewazien and Jason Blake! From observing youth soccer coaches both in practice and clinic situations, Coach Ramsay would like to pinpoint some of the common errors made by coaches. Halftime during a match (5 to 10 minutes depending on the League or tournament) can be an important time for a coach to handle their team.

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that interferes with normal brain function. Medically, a concussion is a complex, pathophysiological event to the brain that is induced by trauma which may or may not involve a loss of consciousness (LOC). A concussion results in a constellation of physical, cognitive, emotional, and sleep-related symptoms.
