When I first started searching for classes for my son, a toddler at the time, I never imagined I would find Tucson Music Lessons. I had seen a natural proclivity for music and rhythm in my son, and I sought instructors whom would tap into his natural curiosity and develop his love and skill for music.

I have seen him evolve in his understanding and respect for music in ways that surpassed my expectations. When a parent from our church asked me to teach her son to play the drums in 2014, I began teaching lessons. Soon I had several students coming to my house each week for drums and guitar. Two years later, Melissa and I founded Tucson Music Lessons. It sounds like a quick progression but it wasn't. My musical journey started more than twenty years earlier.

We have lessons for acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, and ukulele. We'll teach you to play your favorite style of music, including rock, pop, blues, country, jazz, and more. Stuart is a fantastic teacher! My 3 year old adores him. Stuart's enthusiasm for music is contagious and his patience and creativity make for a fun learning experience for kids.

We teach lots of instruments. Your child can explore and try them all. In a half hour we usually play keyboards, guitars, ukuleles, drums, and a surprise instrument or two. We have all the instruments here, so you don't need to buy your own. When young children get their hands on a real musical instrument, they don't know quite what to do.
