PC Parts started out in 1982 as Software Solutions, Ltd. (SSL) Its primary market was the legal field, and it serviced many of the area law firms. Before internet email SSL setup a DOS based email system which many of the local law firms used to communicate with each other. PC Parts was opened in the early 90s as a walk-in computer service store and became the primary name of the company.
PC Parts started one of the early dial-up internet services called Linkup.net. This internet service eventually became the AirFargo wireless internet service which provided high speed internet to many local businesses via point-to-point wireless antennas. Business further branched out to MediaLink which installs and maintains commercial and personal video, audio/video, surveillance and low voltage cabling.
