Little Steps Learning Center is a family owned and operated early learning center located in Scituate, MA serving local families with children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Little Steps offers child care and learning in a safe and nurturing environment that fosters social, physical, emotional, academic and cognitive growth.

Infant Care

Our Infant rooms offer a caring and stimulating environment designed to meet the individual needs of each child. Your child will be discovering new things every day by using all five senses, experimenting with toy instruments, exploring textures and colors, and learning a variety of words and sounds through playing with teachers and other children.
Toddler

Our toddler curriculum is individually tailored for your little one, based on their age and stage of development. Our experienced toddler room teachers focus on enhancing social skills, building independence and boosting confidence. Hands-on exploration and interactive activities allow your toddler to reach their individual potential, while preparing for their success in preschool and beyond.
Toddler Activity Ideas

Splashing it, stomping in it, playing with it. It's also a great way to cool down your toddler on a hot summer day. A few inches of water in a water table or a small paddle pool, some plastic containers and a wooden spoon and little little ones will be happy at play in the back yard, deck, or patio.
Preschool

In our full-day preschool program, we introduce language, math, science and social skills, as well as physical activities such as yoga and gymnastics into our daily routine. During circle time, your child will be exposed to daily songs, the calendar, the days of the week, and a weather chart. Additionally, we review the color, shape and letter of the month.
