Born in the small town of Los Fresnos Texas, Cancer affected the lives of me and my siblings at an early age; when my mother lost her battle to Cancer. It was then that I grew a special interest in knowing why there are so many diseases and how they touch our everyday lives. Before graduating High School I decided my calling was in the study of Clinical Science- Pathology.
