Gena has specialized in pet-oriented obedience for 20+ years and her greatest pleasure is helping families raise and develop successful dogs that thrive in the human world. She believes that housetraining, socialization and obedience creates a solid foundation for life-long happiness and a peaceful home life.
Kevin is a graduate of The Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers and has mentored with Excellence in Motion Agility. In 2016 Kevin earned Certified Trick Dog Instructor through the Do More with Your Dog program. He has worked with dogs for more than 20 years and has titled all his dogs, as well as, clients dogs in AKC Obedience.

All dogs start in a private setting with a personal trainer. We gaurantee our basic onleash obedience because we are confident that individual attention makes all the difference. Once you have completed the Basics, you can join a group class to enjoy the company of others who share the same passion for their dogs.
Veterans & Dogs
Report
Veterans join us weekly to learn the basics of dog care, shaping, leash handling, communicating, etc. During this learning process, the soft skills are equally important to the individual: patience, consistency, enthusiasm, motivation and interaction. Sometimes, getting out of the house is a struggle but knowing that your canine friend is waiting for you makes all the difference.

Board and Train $400.00 for 10 days, includes two free follow-up lessons. Commands include heel with auto sit, sit-stay, sit in motion, climb and come. If time allows we will include down command, if not then it will be covered during your two free follow-up lessons. For all boarding you must bring shot record and a certificate of rabies vaccination from veterinarian and food.
Our Facility

Located in South East Missouri, our facility sets on 14 acres and includes a climate controlled, 3200 square foot Training Center, a climate controlled, 1120 sq ft boarding kennel with attached fence and a full outdoor agility field. The indoor facility hosts private and group classes, an agility course and obedience ring.
Service and Therapy Dog

These are the dogs that visit care facilities such as nursing homes. Once a dog completes basic onleash obedience training, you may continue into therapy dog training. This class consists of three instructional classes conducted at SEMO Dog Trainers facility and a minimum of three supervised visits conducted in the care facility of your choice.
