Sparks Vineyard & Winery was founded in 2001, becoming Lincoln County's first winery and a pioneer in Oklahoma's modern wine industry. Our roots trace back to the early 1900s when French immigrant Leon C. Fouquet established the Dreamland Fruit Farm, planting the region's first grapevines. We combine this heritage with modern winemaking techniques, having built a custom-designed facility in 2000 that now produces award-winning wines recognized by the OKC Gazette and Oklahoma State Wine Championship. Our operations expanded further after legislative milestones like SQ688 and HB1107 enabled direct sales to retailers and participation in trade events. Today, we offer over 20 wine varieties, host annual events, and maintain a tasting room featuring Oklahoma artists' work.Our team's expertise spans viticulture, fermentation science, and hospitality, ensuring quality from vine to bottle. The Oklahoma wine trail has changed over the years. Sparks is still here. This winery has been on to-go list for a while and we finally made it. Although the grounds and vines may have seen better days, the walkway to the winery is charming. The tasting room quaint and spacious and the owner is gregarious and knowledgeable. He was the first to give us the wine passport and stamp it. Our favorite was the Cab Franc and we picked up a couple of bottles of sweet blackberry wine for summer sipping. Please note that (depending on how Google takes you) you might be driving on five miles of dirt
