Co-Owners, Laura Severino Sinagra and Erin Valaskatgis, have been in the hair and makeup industry for over 10 years. When they met and started working together in 2009, they instantly connected as they both shared the same passion for the beauty industry. Laura, a graduate from Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, and Erin, a graduate of North Shore Community College for Cosmetology, have over 20 years of experience in this field.
In 2016, after years of working in the same salons & spas, Laura and Erin decided to join forces and begin their work as The Artists Hair & Makeup. I'm passionate about the beauty industry, not because of vanity, but because I love helping others feel confident and amazing! I graduated from the Elizabeth Grady school of Esthetics in 2010, and I have over 10 years experience in this field.

Erin, Laura and their team did an amazing job with hair and makeup for myself, 9 bridesmaids and my mother. It was the hottest day of the year, yet the hair and makeup stayed put all day/night. We try to be very flexible and work with your schedule. We recommend scheduling your trial 8-12 weeks before your wedding date. Please be aware that we do not schedule trials on weekends between the months of May-October. You will feel like a Kardashian while your hair and makeup trials are performed simultaneously.
