Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association (WCTA) is a telecommunications company headquartered in Lake Mills, Iowa. Today, WCTA utilizes the latest digital switching and fiber optic technology to deliver advanced telecommunications service, Internet access, digital TV service, computer protection, and long distance service to 28 communities in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.

WCTA strives to be an important part of each and every community we serve. Our employees live and work in these communities. They serve on fire and ambulance departments, city councils, school and civic organizations. As a cooperative, WCTA is owned and governed by its members and a member - elected Board of Directors.

WCTA Revolving Loan Fund

A Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is a gap financing measure primarily used for development and expansion of small businesses. It is a self-replenishing pool of money, utilizing interest and principal payments on old loans to issue new ones. While the majority of RLFs support local businesses, some target specific areas such as healthcare, minority business development, and environmental cleanup.

College can be a bit expensive, so we offer options to help you locate some possible scholarships. We encourage you to apply or pass this information along to someone who may have an interest in attending college. Established by Glenn Bergland to express appreciation to all past and present members of WCTA (RTA) and Heartland Power (REA), whose entities were organized and managed by Glenn for 25 years and 35 years, respectively.
Photo Contest

All submitted photographs become the property of WCTA; submission implies consent to use photos in WCTA marketing materials including but not limited to: the directory cover, calendars, and/or advertising campaigns. Contestant must submit DIGITAL COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS. Contestant must provide their full name, address, and phone number when submitting their photograph(s).
Allocation Notices
Report
Winnebago Cooperative Telecom Association's Board of Directors will notify members of any deferred patronage dividend amount allocated to your account this year. This is, in effect, invested in cable, digital switching, electronics and other property.

Should a member receive an allocation notice, the amount of your patronage capital is shown on the "Notice of Deferred Patronage Dividend, " statement and is based on the amount of business (service) you do with your Cooperative.
