Our historic Minneapolis repair shop has been around for 75 years and has serviced thousands of cars over the years. Our owner Dale Tillemans has been at the head of the shop for the last two years and is the third owner of the shop on Cedar Avenue. Dale has been working on cars since he was 13 years old, developing a passion to work on cars at a young age.

Cedar Ave Repair shop may seem like good local spot to have your car maintained, but all the glitter is not gold. The staff is friendly but not trustworthy. I had both of my vehicles serviced here for quite sometime and I was totally ripped off. I paid a premium price for multiple services on my vehicles the quality of work was pathetic. The owner, Dale, comes off as a nice but he is truly slimy. Dale claimed he found and fixed multiple leaks in my luxury vehicle and charged me a premium price to fix the leaks but he never fixed the leaks. The next day I noticed my vehicle was still leaking fluid

I enjoyed my experience with them. They were honest and upfront in each step of the process. I took a gamble considering I drove 2000 miles the next week I had my car back from them and it paid off. Great work guys.

I live five hours from the Twin Cities and when visiting family locally, I have needed fast service a couple of times. Cedar Ave Repair has always come to my rescue with honest, skilled, friendly service at very affordable rates. I will be moving back to the area and when I do, these guys will be my regular mechanics. Can't recommend this shop enough.

Honesty and Integrity - this shop has both. They take appointments and you can also schedule early morning appointments for maintenance so you can sit and wait (for minutes, not hours). Fair pricing on repairs and will only repair what needs to be done. Will openly and honestly discuss your vehicle and not force any unnecessary repairs/costs on their customers. Give them a chance - you won't be disappointed.
