This year, The Legal Project is proud to celebrate 25 years of helping the people of the Capital Region get vital civil legal services. We provide civil legal services and supports for the most vulnerable people in our community, including the working poor, women, immigrants and the LGBTQ community.
We have grown steadily since our founding in 1995, and we currently have over 300 pro bono attorneys and staff ready to assist you in 11 counties across New York state. The Legal Project, located in Albany, New York, is a private, independent, not-for-profit organization founded by the Capital District Women's Bar Association in 1995.
