Our Audiologist became interested in hearing loss when her brother was unable to enlist in military service due to his hearing loss. Dr. Ponthier opened Lagniappe Hearing to offer hearing services to the people of central Louisiana. She wants to help improve the quality of life and relationships through better hearing.
Pronounced lan-yap, lagniappe means "something extra." Dr. Ponthier chose to name her practice Lagniappe Hearing to let her patients know that she will always go above and beyond.
