Western New York Plumbing
Richard Greene and his brother Donald. The business was quickly expanded when they were awarded 1970's apartment projects like Slate Bottom Creek and Garden Village Apartments and as a New Home building boom started in Cheektowaga, Lancaster and Amherst. Donald soon left as an owner/partner as the company focus shifted to Single Family New Construction where our reputation for quality and innovation evolved.

In 1972 Richard Greene purchased Cleveland Hill Plumbing, a hardware store on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga and soon after moved it into his main location on Walden Avenue. The name changed to "The Bath Shoppe" and at that time sales in product for the do-it-yourselfer were on the rise. This is where Richard saw an opportunity to use The Bath Shoppe to offer optional selections to a new home buyer.
