We are open during our normal hours. You are welcome in the tasting room to order. If you do not want to enter the building, we offer shipping, curbside pickup and deliveries via the website or phone. We started doing wine tastings again (5 tastes for $5), but are also still continuing to offer flights (4 2-oz pours for $10).

We have lots of seating outside and a few tables inside. No reservations taken for tables. Masks are no longer required inside the tasting room, but please feel free to wear one if you feel more comfortable! We very much appreciate the support of our little family winery during this unprecedented situation and hope that all of you are staying healthy, both physically and mentally!
Services
The Winery
Report
We in the Levengood family have been making wine at Manatawny Creek Winery for over 20 years and having a great time doing it! All of our wines are made here at the winery and we grow about half of the grapes we need to produce about 12,000 gallons (5000 cases) of wine every year. All the grapes we purchase are grown in Pennsylvania with the majority grown here in Berks County and nearby Lehigh, York, Chester and Lancaster counties.
The Vineyards
Report
There are 10 acres of vines planted at Manatawny Creek Winery in 3 separate vineyards. Vineyard 1, planted in 1991, contains about 5 acres of hybrid grapes. Hybrids are crosses between Vinifera e.g. Chardonnay, Cabernet) and Native American varieties (e.g. Niagara, Concord. The 6 varieties in Vineyard 1 include Foch, Chancellor, Steuben, Cayuga White, Vidal Blanc and Seyval Blanc.
The Brewery
Report
We are now brewing beer at the annex which is the little purple house down the street from the winery. The brews are only being served on tap in the winery tasting room. Under PA law, we can only serve the beer at the winery for consumption on premises, meaning we cannot do growler fills or bottles/cans to take home.
Sustainability
Report
The term sustainability is being used quite a lot these days in relation to the environment. Certainly, practicing sustainable agriculture is one area that can have a major, long-term impact on the environment; farming the land in order to minimize environmental impact will help to ensure that farming can continue into future generations.
Winery Happenings
Report
We got a supply of really delicious cheese spreads from DiBruno Brothers like Pinot Grigio with Fig and Smoked Gouda with Beer now available in the tasting room. You can make your own cheese board with cheese, crackers, nuts, pretzels, etc.! Good news for our customers who live out of state - we can now ship to you via Vinoshipper!
