I was greeted upon entering by the owner. He spoke about a project they were working on. He spoke of the different types of art that are represented throughout his establishment. It was not crowded, and I was able to really enjoy the pieces that touched me.

Have bought both sculptures and artwork from this gallery over the last few years. Always admired the Robert E Lee bust since I am named after him. Inquired today on the cost of the bust and Richard replied more than you want to pay. Thought it very rude.

My fiancee and I took a stroll through here as we were feeling kind of down and wanted to check out some of the local shops to us, we were pleasantly surprised to find that not only was this a fine art gallery, as advertised, but we were welcomed into such an establishment with fun, eager staff! This is pretty decent sized store, with a great variety of fine art pieces. We had a blast going through their gallery, probably spent an hour or more there. I will certainly be returning with money to spend! This is absolutely a hidden gem in Virginia Beach. Check it out if you're in the area.

Loved it. The sculptures were very good and I loved the artwork as well. Prices are out of my range but will definitely go back to enjoy the art. The people at the gallery were very nice and answered all of our questions.

We met Richard at the store. He was working on a Roger Federer sculpture. He's incredibly talented to say the least! The store itself is very cool and they do have reasonably priced paintings (along with the pieces that cost thousands of dollars).

I just had the best experience at Richard' Stravitz Sculptors and Fine Art Gallery. Although they were not open today, they let me in. Amy walked me through the whole gallery who was very knowledgable of the various artist. The paintings were by some local artists and some from artist as far away as Poland. The bronze sculptures by Mr. Stravits were very cool. The sculptures were placed all around in the gallery. All in all, the galley with its paintings and scluptors reminded me of memories from different times in my life. I look forward to visiting again.
